Articles are a bit old... but its kind of strange that they have him promoting the show already when he hasn't been officially announced as joining the show, just in finals last I read... anyone else come across other stuff?

Rhys wins lead role

TWINKLE-toed 10-year-old Rhys Yeomans could be set for stardom in London's West End.

Rhys, from Chadderton near Oldham, has won through three regional auditions for the lead role in a new stage production of Billy Elliot.

The Hulme Grammar School pupil - who only started formal dance training 18 months ago - now plans to dazzle the producers in a final audition in London.


Title of the article seems a bit presumptuous.... but I guess he made it if he's wearing a Billy shirt and doing promo stuff.

BTW, I laughed when I saw the pair of feet from the kid who obviously missed the cue to jump... :?
