I have read or heard nothing yet about Dayton staying on in NY. Michael has been mentioned as moving on to the 2nd national tour. I am sure Dayton's contract must be up for renewal very soon.

Fingers crossed he says on and is there for my visit in early September.

A good question BillyAddict. The only thing we have heard is on Tessa's Formspring page she mentioned that no Billys are scheduled to leave until September. At that time I believe Liam has to go back to Toronto for school and Michael will probably begin rehearsals with the tour company. Hopefully Dayton can stay in NY for a while longer to ease the transition as the recently announced Billys join the cast.

Well you have to look at it like this- Dayton's original 6 month contract started at the end of December 2009, and ran to about now. It has obviously been renewed, so he will probably not leave until December( if he is leaving at all), at which point the show will resume to the 4 Billy rotation.

Ends in July I believe unless renewed.

Kylend broke a toe on one of his feet 8( . He had on a soft cast last night and was on crutches. Because of this they moved up his leaving the NY show to last night. With his final performance being Wed Eve July 7. After recovering Kylend goes to training for the tour. Yes Dayton was the s/b.

Only two Billy's have so far performed the role of Billy for longer than two years. Trent Kowalik and Dayton Tavares.

Trent - 17th December 2007 to 7th March 2010 = 812 days.
Dayton - 24th May 2008 to 13th August 2010 (Present) = 812 days

So when Dayton next takes the stage in New York he will officially become the world longest ever performing Billy!
